BCCI opted for a four-day first-class match instead of a three-day practice match ahead of their four-Test series Down Under. The match starts on Nov 28 and is being seen as more of a workout for bowlers like Mohammed Shami, Ishant and Ashwin who haven't had much cricket recently. The first Test begins in Adelaide on Dec 6.
