IPL Auction: 1003 players registered for 70 available spots

For the first time in the history of the IPL, cricketers from nine states - Arunachal Pradesh, Bihar, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, Uttarakhand, Puducherry - have registered. For the available 70 spots in eight franchises, the registered players included 200 capped, 800 uncapped and three cricketers from the Associate Nations.
