ICC okays Covid substitute, saliva penalty; leaves testing policy to boards

To tackle the threat of Covid-19, the ICC has rolled out a set of interim playing conditions as the game gets ready for resumption after a forced break due to the pandemic. The sport's world body has allowed replacements for players displaying Covid-19 symptoms during Test matches and decided to penalize teams up to five runs for using saliva on the ball.
